About Doggy Business

The why & how behind what we do

Our goal is to be the best in the doggy business – the best place to socialize your puppy, the best class instructors, and the best option for solving dog problems from typical to truly troubling.

To do that, we adhere to these guiding principles:

  • An abiding commitment to continuing education and professional development
  • A dedication to using only the most up-to-date, scientifically-sound, modern and humane training methods
  • A promise to never settle for “how it’s always done,” but instead to develop the best and safest ways to provide daycare, walking, and training services
  • Above-and-beyond care for our human clients too

Certified, Experienced, Knowledgeable Staff:

All our training staff hold their Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA) designations through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT), or are in the process of getting their 300 hours of experience required for the test.

This designation requires adherence to a Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics, with which the entire Doggy Business team gladly adheres. And to maintain these credentials, we each attend multiple continuing education opportunities each year, including conferences, workshops, and seminars.
